Like the dentist in this article, I am seeing – and of course treating – a lot of broken teeth, abscesses and the like as I return back to work after our closure due to Covid-19. It’s imperative to the wellbeing and general health of my patients that these problems be dealt with properly and expediently which we have been doing since our dental office opened up.
The risk of putting off necessary dental treatment is significant, by far exceeds the risk of catching Covid-19 by coming into our office. All dentists and dental hygienists within the Province of Ontario must abide by very strict regulations that have been set forth by their respective Colleges in order to best ensure the safety of their patients. Furthermore, our office has made a point of not only meeting, but exceeding both Colleges’ guidelines.
